Ventilation plates are used in the design and renovation of generators.
TDV manufactures a complete range of stainless steel or carbon steel ventilation spacers. Welded onto laser-cut sheets, we offer our partners in the energy sector the supply of stacked sheet metal packages for generators or engines in the wind, turbo, hydraulic, and marine industries.
Ventilation plates are used to manage airflow to help cool engines/generators and are strategically placed in the central stacks.

TDV uses its patented LPW® laser welding process to assemble the spacers on the plates. This technology allows for welding without the addition of material, which drastically reduces the risk of tearing.

These profiles, made from specific non-magnetic materials, are used in rotors and stators. Through the use of these spacers, TDV is strengthening its global position by participating in the development of wind turbines, steam turbines, hydroelectric dams, and nuclear power plants.

Solar ribbon, also known as “Pv Ribbon,” is a copper conductor installed in photovoltaic solar panels.
The ribbon is used during the process of soldering cells into a solar module. It plays an important role in determining the efficiency of the cell, transporting the current generated in the solar cell to the busbar ribbons.
