Photovoltaic ribbon
Solar ribbon, also known as “Pv Ribbon,” is a copper conductor installed in photovoltaic solar panels.
The ribbon is used during the process of soldering cells into a solar module. It plays an important role in determining the efficiency of the cell, transporting the current generated in the solar cell to the BUSBAR ribbons.
With over 50 years of experience in wire processing and more than 15 years in soldering, TDV continues to grow by offering solutions for solar module manufacturers.
Tab tape & busbar tape
The tab ribbon, also known as the interconnection ribbon, is used to connect the solar cells to each other during the “stringer” stage.
The omnibus ribbon, also known as the busbar ribbon, is used to connect the strings of cells to the panel’s junction box.
dedicated to innovation
Tinned copper wire
Our solar ribbon is rolled from round copper and then tinned in a molten metal bath. This process guarantees a high-quality coating that is applied evenly, without smears, bumps, or spots.
Our photovoltaic ribbons are manufactured from premium quality materials. Each order is produced to the customer’s exact dimensional and mechanical specifications to ensure optimal performance and perfect compatibility with their manufacturing processes.
Why choose TDV for your energy projects?
