Located in the heart of the Vosges mountains, on the banks of the Semouse river, the company has always been actively committed to protecting the environment.
With a zero discharge target, Tréfilerie des Vosges has invested in high-performance liquid effluent treatment technologies, including the installation of a micro-treatment plant, evaporators and waste retention tanks.
TDV uses only non-potable water in a closed circuit to cool its furnaces and pays particular attention to the sorting and treatment of its waste.
With a view to reducing its energy footprint, the company has also installed a 600-panel photovoltaic power plant, contributing to the production of renewable energy, and has set up a system to recover heat from the wire drawing machines to heat its workshops.
